30. Favourite song ever and why
Only one song, really?
I still don’t understand how I got so much into this band. How can I relate and feel this songs in my soul. I think it must be for the great atmosphere and strong feelings in their music, and because some lyrics share my weird obsession with the sea, or the catastrophic love life or defeated life.

27. Favourite live TV performance
The Heinrich Maneuver (Live At Letterman 10-07-07)
Mmm, this one was tough, I haven’t seen much of their performances on TV. Although Paul looks a little like a hobbo (still cute) and a kinda distracted, Carlos and Daniel are flawless.
And Sam at 2.30 is the coolest person on planet earth, and probably all the freaking universe.
I almost choose Barricade on Letterman, but I didn’t because of Brandon Curtis, not his vocals, but… the fact that he looks exactly like my multimedial teacher, it freaks me out.
Lights on Conan is pretty cool too.

26. How you got into Interpol?
Mmmm I answered this one. (in the first question I think).
I knew who they were, but never really got into them until I heard Take you on a cruise, when the song got to the part of ‘Oh my love is sailing to Norway. Oh my love we’re leaving tonight’, that was it. Pure love since that day.

25. What do you think about the Carlos quit? Of course it’s a shame, they have said tons of times that Interpol are four individual persons, and they need each other to work. But if a member of your band doesn’t want to be there and hate playing, well… you can’t go forcing something if it’s just not right.
But i have to say that, in my opinion, they seem to be really really happy lately, I’m not saying it’s because Carlos left, but in their live performances recorded I’ve seen, they seem to be enjoying themselves and the music, smiling all the time… Maybe it’s because now they’re more mature musically and in their personal lives, but i don’t think it’s over, and besides I fully believe in Mr. Sam Fogarino, quoting ‘there would be a fifth album’. Oh yeah.
There’s still plenty of Interpol love!

22. Favourite Our Love To Admire video
No I in threesome - Directed by Patrick Daughters
One of the nicest travelling tracking shot ever. Those beautiful scenes with the mirrors (Y). The general atmosphere is so sensitive and delicate, but yet seductive (after all Paul wants ladies). Everyone looks painfully charming in this video.
